SCANit International is actually integrated with major suppliers. What does this mean for you? Your prices are in real time and specific to your business. If your supplier changes any prices, your inventory will be calculated at that new price from the date you bought the product. Think of how much time this will save you from updating your database or spreadsheet. No more checking invoices for price changes every week. Or maybe you know that checking them every week is time you can't afford, so you only check prices every few months when you can't figure out why your inventory is out. That is usually a good half a day trying to figure out which prices went up and which went down.

Not only does SCANit always use real time prices so you never have to update your inventory sheets, it is smart. If there is any change in any of your prices with an integrated supplier, it will highlight and graph them for you, making you instantly aware of the changes. We call it "Price creeping" when a supplier quotes you on one price and then slowly increases the price on you, hoping you won't notice. SCANit alleviates price creeping.

Reputable, honest suppliers don't have a problem with this feature. Obviously there are times when prices will increase. Produce goes up when we are coming out of summer and going into winter. Bad crop seasons, food illness scares and high gas prices can all contribute to higher prices. We just want you to be aware of the change. Your supplier should be able to stand behind their decision to raise their prices on you.
